Bring out your child’s artistic side with the Academy’s discovery tours of traditional art techniques and materials. Kids learn key artistic concepts and principals as they complete a variety of creative projects. Appropriate projects and concepts are selected to accommodate the range of individual interests and abilities in each class.

Instructor
Brigitte O’Ryan: Brigitte holds a master’s degree in museum education and taught elementary art and museum studies at St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School for five years. Currently she teaches summer family programs at the National Gallery of Art and teaches yoga for both adults and children. She is also a mother to two young children.
